CUSTOM

  • We unfortunately can’t give quotes through email. There are too many factors to consider, such as budget, style, fabric choice, timeline, etc.
  • Custom orders cannot be rescheduled, refunded, returned or exchanged. This is due to costs already incurred such as time/admin, saying no to other potential clients and paying staff to work on your order.

 

 HIRING

  • We work on a First Come, First Serve basis, seeing that our items are one-of-a-kind, there are not many options per size and style available.
  • Items cannot be reserved or set aside for fittings.
  • Fully paid hiring take priority over fitting appointments, which are meant for browsing what’s currently available in the studio at the time of your appointment. If you’re interested in a specific item, we recommend booking your fitting asap.
  • If the dress doesn’t fit or if the one you wanted to fit is unavailable you are welcome to brows for a different option or chat to Cindy about a Made-to-Hire, depending on your budget and the timeframe. Alternatively, we can offer a hiring voucher.
  • We can quote you should the dress require alteration or remodelling.
  • New garments are priced higher and will be lowered over time.
  • We are unable to refund or reschedule paid order. This is due to costs already incurred such as time/admin, saying no to other potential clients and paying staff to prepare the item.

  

COLLECTION AND RETURN

  • Book the dress you love for your event date, arrange collection, and return dates.
  • Photoshoot dresses are collected the day before the photoshoot and returned the day after.
  • Collection and return dates for event dresses will be discussed accordingly.

  

HOLDING DEPOSIT

  • There might be a holding deposit payable that will be refunded should the dress be returned on time, without any damage.
  • If the dress is returned with minor damage, we will withhold the deposit, and you might receive an invoice if the deposit doesn't cover the damage costs.
  • If the dress is damaged or stained beyond repair, or stolen while in your care, you will be held liable for the full value of the dress.
  • We will arrange dry-cleaning, and an additional dry-cleaning fee might be added to your quote.

 

ONE-OF-A-KIND

  • The size you see displayed is the only size available.
  • If you are unsure of the size, you are welcome to email us for the garment measurements.
  • The listed prices apply to standard-sized, ready-to-wear items.
  • To discuss custom, made on your measurements, kindly book a bespoke consultation. 

  

ALTERATIONS

  • Alteration costs are not included in the sale or hiring prices.
  • We recommend booking as early as possible seeing that we cannot guarantee production time availability.

 

SALE GARMENTS

  • Please note that all purchases made during sales or at discounted rates are considered final and cannot be refunded, exchanged, or returned.
  • Items labeled as "shop-soiled" are marked down due to slight soiling or minor damage, such as tiny hooks, marks or imperfections from studio fittings or photo shoots. 

 

 APPOINTMENT PAYMENT

  • Proof of payment confirms your appointment.
  • We can only keep you on pending for up to 2hrs after receiving your request.

 

APPOINTMENT RESCHEDUAL

  • Rescheduling an appointment can be accommodated once, with no less than 24hrs notice.
  • Contact us to reschedule.
  • Please note, there are no refunds for cancellations or rescheduling of appointments scheduled during after-hours (16:00-18:00) on weekdays or weekends.
    Our studio closes at 16:00, requiring special arrangements for later appointments.

  

APPOINTMENT TIME

  • Please plan to have enough time to get to your appointment on time.
  • Should you run late, then we will have to reschedule your fitting for another day, and it will be an extra fitting cost to you.
  • If you are early, we ask you to kindly grab a coffee nearby and come back on the exact time we booked your appointment.
  • We kindly request that you bring max two to three guests to your appointment, due to limited space.
  • Our studio is not pet or unsupervised child friendly, due to delicate fabrics.

  

 PHOTOGRAPHY POLICY

  • Taking photos of the dresses are not allowed, unless a dress has been purchased (please let your guests know).
  • This is to protect the copy right of the designer’s work. We have had clients taking photos and having the dress made elsewhere. Lighting and bad angles also often distort the gown therefore giving a false impression.

 

ESTIMATE PRICING

  • Custom Bridal: R35 000/R45 000/R50 000 and up.
  • Custom Evening: Matric Dance & Mother-of-bride: R15 000/R20 000/ and up.
  • Buy an existing bridal gown: R15 000/R20 000/R25 000 and up.
  • Order an existing bridal gown: R20 000/ R25 000/R30 000 and up.
  • Buy an existing evening gown: R6 000/R8 000/R12 000 and up.
  • Order an existing evening gown: R10 000/ R15 000/R20 000 and up.
  • Alterations: Labour (example): Cutting and sewing plain hems (3 layers), adjusting straps, adding, or removing cups, adding covered boning. R3 500 and up

 

COURIER OR COLLECT

At checkout, you have the option to either collect the item in person or have it couriered directly to your address.

  • Courier:Upon the collection of your order by the courier service, we regretfully cannot be held responsible for any delays or potential loss of an item.
    You are welcome to inquire about insurance options for your parcel or arrange for your preferred courier service to collect the item.
  • Collection: Please be informed that we require a minimum of 2 to 5 days' lead time before collection by you or the courier, depending on the order, to inspect and properly package your order. Kindly inform us of your preferred day and time for order collection.
